Gary Hale Appears on "Face the State"
Gary Hale, the lobbying chair with Halloran & Sage Government Affairs LLC, recently appeared as a guest on WFSB's "Face the State." He discussed the need for the construction of a liquefied natural gas facility in the New York waters of Long Island Sound.
Details of the project, its benefits, and the need for additional clean energy production in Connecticut were outlined. Halloran & Sage LLC represents Broadwater Energy, a venture between TransCanada Pipeline and Shell Oil.
Mr. Hale is an attorney and former Connecticut State Senator who served as the chair of the Senate's Committee on Energy and Public Utilities. He became a lobbyist in 1993. Mr. Hale worked closely with legislative leadership to draft an electric deregulation bill that has since promoted competition within this industry. He has also represented a variety of energy industry interests in matters relating to industry restructuring.
